Ingredients

Units Scale

Golden Oreo Crust

  • 28 Golden Oreos, crushed
  • 6 Tablespoons Butter, melted

Cake Batter Ice Cream

  • 16oz (2 Cups) Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1- 14oz Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1/2 cup Dry Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1/4 cup Sprinkles
  • 8 Golden Oreos, broken into pieces
  • Sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

Golden Oreo Crust

  1. Crush Oreos in a food processor until a fine crumb is formed or in a plastic bag with a rolling pin crushing them. In a medium bowl combine crushed Oreos and butter until fully combined. Press mixture into a 9-inch deep-dish pie plate, making sure to make an even layer that goes high up on the sides of the pie plate.

Cake Batter Ice Cream

  1. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a whisk attachment or a large bowl with an electric hand mixer whisk the heavy cream on medium high until stiff peaks form.
  2. Meanwhile in a bowl combine condensed milk, cake mix, and sprinkles.
  3. Add half of the condensed milk mixture to the whipped cream, gently folding it in, be careful not to mix too aggressively or you will knock the air out. Add the remaining condensed milk mixture into the heavy whipping cream, mixing until just combined. Then gently fold in the crushed Oreos.
  4. Pour into the prepared pie crust, sprinkle the sprinkles on top, cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight. When ready to serve use a large knife dipped in hot water to slice the pie. Store leftovers in the freezer covered tightly for up to a month.
